Master Planning
Description:
Hyde Property Group, a Melbourne-based real estate company, entered a conditional contract in 2021 to acquire approximately 130 hectares to expand the Coral Cove community near Bundaberg. MasterPlan was engaged to undertake planning due diligence to inform the acquisition and development strategy.
Investigations focused on five precincts: Beachside, Coral Cove West, Quarry Residential, Logans Land, and Quarry Recreational. Working alongside specialist consultants, MasterPlan assessed the planning framework, site constraints, infrastructure considerations, and development opportunities across each precinct.
Based on preliminary master planning, MasterPlan identified preferred land use outcomes, approval pathways, key technical requirements, and indicative timeframes and costs. This work provided Hyde Property Group with a clear understanding of development potential and risk, supporting informed decision-making at the acquisition stage.
